Here’s a tip that I learned at a bridal salon: clean your dress with unscented baby wipes. They told me it was safe for all fabrics.  I used them on my dress after my bridal portraits and they worked great!

sounds about right. But i would rather pay 300 for someone who knows what theyre doing than to risk something going wrong

kl1987:  i paid $300 for them to clean and preserve it. If its just cleaning it, than no thats way over priced. But its also preserving it, than yes its a good price. Davids bridal does it for $200

I paid $150 for dry cleaning only, but they also really effed it up… So yeah I’d pay the $300!
