Mine guestimated $4,879 for our destination elopement with 2 guests and the real cost was $3,300.

Our wedding is some time off, so I tried it based on my sisters wedding since I know her details.  The estimate was a bit high, but that’s because we got a lot of semi-DIYed a lot.  The estimate just asks if you’re spending money on something.  So while we spent money on supplies it was less then just buying ready made.

Mine is a little off – We are spending about $48,000 (including honeymoon, which wasn’t an option on the survey) and it estimated $62,333.

This was actually spot-on for me except that we were gifted the photographer and had a friend who is a former florist do our flowers at a huge savings. If we’d paid the going rate for those items, I think that estimator would have been within $500 of the actual total expense.

Terrifyingly accurate.  Within $100 of our proposals.

Mine was within $10k.. though it included things in the whole budget that I didn’t include in mine, like my dress and gifts for parents/attendants.

ETA: wedding isn’t until July, so my costs aren’t “final” yet.
