I am attending a few weddings this summer and am trying to save money by dress shopping in my closet. I have this dress that I purchased last summer, but I’m not sure if it’ll be appropriate to wear to any of the weddings I’ll be attending.
Is the colour too light or maybe is it too fancy? Help! It’s chiffon in a sort of blush/beige colour.

I think it may be a little too showy for a wedding, but that might just be me.

I think the dress itself is fine but the color may be a bit iffy.

Just a smidge over the top for me personally.

I think it’s perfect for a wedding! 🙂

I think its reallly pretty!!!! If you’re not sure about it, could you pair it with some colorful accessories? Cardigan, scarf or different colored belt?

i love it. if it’s a fancy wedding then go for it. my cousin wore a dress very similar to that one at my wedding and she looked beautiful.

I think it’s pretty and as long as it doesn’t look any lighter in person I’d say it’s fine.

i think its beautiful but i would play down the accessories so to not take away from the bride

I’m still a little on the fence based on your opinions. I love it so much and I’d love to wear it again. It’s a little hard for me to tell what the dress code is for the one I have it in mind for, so maybe I’ll look into it a little more. I don’t want to outshine the bride, though I think that would be hard to do! I also don’t want to end up looking like a bridesmaid…
Thanks for all your opinions and suggestions. I’ll take them to heart when making a final decision, but I am leaning more towards just wearing it with a cardigan to ‘dress it down’ a little!

I think it;s pretty. I personally don’t care if people wear white/cream or whatever – it’s a pretty color!!!! Besides, you won’t miss me in the crowd, I’m going to have the puffy ballgown dress. I think it’s very polite to ask the bride beforehand if she would be ok with the dress if it IS cream/white. I actually did this for someone else’s wedding and the bride couldn’t have cared less, but I found something else anyways! 🙂
