Today is epilepsy awareness day but I don’t think that is the symbol. Maybe it is though…

I think its a symbol for marriage equality….though I’m not 100% sure on that.

It’s for the marriage equality bills going through the Supreme Court today.

Human rights campaign changed their logo to this red one for the occasion. They are trying to make it a “red out” on various social media to Bering attention to the issue and the court cases

It’s for marriage equality for same-sex couples. Today the U.S. Supreme Court rules on DOMA and one other thing, I think?

It’s a big deal.

People here (NYC) are also wearing red today to create a “red-out.” I didn’t realize it until I wore a red skirt and saw many more co-workers than usual wearing red.

Today the Supreme Court is ruling on California’s Prop 8 (which changed the state constitution to deny marriage to same sex couples). Tomorrow they rule on DOMA. Big two days for marriage equality.

And, yes, the symbol is the logo for the Human Rights Campaign, usually blue with yellow equal sign, recolored.
