My fiance and I had to go to four hours out of town to find a Cartier Boutique that carried the wedding band we wanted to get for him. We ended up buying it that day, and because I didn’t want to carry it in my purse (didn’t feel comfortable carrying $1800 merchandise) I told him to wear it. And proceeded to refer to him as my husband for the remainder of the trip….lol.
My mother says it was bad luck to let him wear it without actually being married yet! Is she right???

I would say no but I also don’t believe in luck.

I’ve never heard of that one.

It is a superstition … if you believe in those, then I guess it *could* be bad luck.
At work we are changing our logo and my boss wants to order new cards, but since I am getting married I told him I’d just wait until my name changed legally. Someone suggested I just order them now with the new name … but I would rather wait. I guess I’m a little superstitious.

I think you’re fine. I guess it could be, but I wouldn’t worry too much 😉

I come from a very very superstitious family (my great grandmother was a fortune teller) so in my family they would say yes that was bad luck and that it was bad luck that people thought your Fiance was your husband would constitute a bad omen. However I think you are fine, and don’t let what they say worry you. My mom wasn’t even allowed to have pictures of her dress before she was married because it could be cursed. lol Your marriage is made between you and your FH and no bad luck can stop that!

I’m pretty sure that if you guys ended up divorced, it wouldn’t be because he wore his ring once before the ceremony 😉

I’m not superstitious. So no. Of course not! Lol. It’s only bad luck if you believe it to be!

Nope. If you believe something bad will happen, it likely will, but that’s more a case of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Be confident. 🙂
