Yep. If you have one of those ziplock sucky things (sorry no clue what they’re called) that will keep it longer.

Sale by dates are not the same as expiration dates. Stores have sale by dates because if they went by the expiration date they’d have less than 24hrs to move the product off their shelf before it literally went bad. The sale by date gives them more time to sell a product that is still good but not in it’s prime. Just put it in a freezer bag, try to squeeze the air out, and throw it in the freezer. It will be good for quite some time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Is there no fridge for you to put them in until then? Hope so… But I buy meat on sale all the time and freeze them until I am ready for using them… no problem!

I buy meat from the grocery store all the time that’s on sale for the sell-by date and don’t always use it right away and keep it by freezing it.  You’re totally okay!

You can still freeze it, but make sure you use it on the day you defrost it! Don’t defrost it and then leave it in the fridge for a few days before cooking.
