It looks a LITTLE short on this model, but if it goes to your knees or just a little above, I think it would probably be fine. I see way more black than white.
@ohheavenlyday: It's much longer on me than the model, almost knee length. The model must be like 6 foot or something!
I think it would look great.. but if you are questioning it.. you prob shouldnt wear it.
It's perfectly fine. The white is the background color and it's not bridal at all.
No, don't wear it! People just may think you're rude because of all that WHITE in it...
Joking, it's fine and totally cute
Its definitely not a white dress so I think its fine. Just because something has some white doesn't mean you can't wear it. I think just don't wear an all white dress and you are fine.
Thanks everyone. I wouldn't have even questioned it if it wasn't for weddingbee... all of the DO NOT WEAR ANYTHING WITH WHITE posts made me paranoid :)
@sparkles_10: The dress is by Theory and I found it on sale at a theory outlet, but I know you can also rent it at Rent the Runway (which is where I found the picture of it).
not too much white...its fine. however...i suggest wearing a cardigan of some sort...the top is really low. also..its a little short for a wedding but unless you are tall..it wont be that short.
It is not a white dress, so yes, you can wear it. And with regards to the rule of not wearing white to a wedding (except for the bride, of course), how about the royal wedding where Kate's sister, the maid of honor wore white? I personally did not think it is offensive. But, that is just my opinion. So, yeah, wear that dress, it is a beauty!
Hi, I agree with others here, it does not look like the bridal dress in any way so it's totally safe to wear.
I would be way more concerned about the length of the dress as versus that there is some white in it. Hopefully you are not attending a church wedding.
With all the colors in the rainbow I dont understand why people want to wear dresses that have even a speck of white to a wedding. I personally wouldnt mind if someone wore this to my wedding, but everyone is different

Hey hive,
I just tried this dress on today and it was super cute and I thought it would be perfect for an outdoor wedding I'm going to in a couple weeks. I was about to order it but then figured I should double check since there is some white in it.
Do you think this dress is ok to wear to a wedding? I wouldn't mind at all if someone wore it to my wedding since it's mostly not white, but I don't want to offend anyone. I honestly don't think the bride would mind at all, but I don't want others giving me any dirty looks because there is some white in it. Is it ok to wear?
