I have had almost everyone tell me that this dress is acceptable to wear to a wedding. BUT I would rather get the advice from women who are engaged/have had weddings since most of the people I have asked are NOT married. I would ask the bride, but honestly, I feel like if I do, I will only think that she is being nice/doesn’t want to tell me the truth to be nice. So here it is ladies, lay it on me: http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/place-setting-the-scene-dress

Totally acceptable. It has a pattern that covers the white and doesn’t resemble a wedding gown in the least.

I think it’s totally cute and acceptable to wear to a wedding. It will make you look great but in no way compete with the bride. I say order it!

OOO cute dress!
I would say yes, you could wear that to a wedding. I think as long as it isn’t too flashy/centre of attention or puffy ball gown white I would give you the go ahead!

It’s fine. It is a print dress noit a white dress.

@Dutchie: I agree. I would not mind it had one of my guests wore that.

I LOVE it! and I think it’s perfectly acceptable.

Gosh I sure do love the dress! I want to tell you it’s okay, but I’m kind of curious what others think as well. I personally wouldn’t tell someone not to wear it. Sure it has a white base, but the bride doesn’t have a printed wedding gown. Just my opinion though, and others might disagree!

Personally, I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear to a wedding. It’s patterned, but it’s mostly white.

Really cute dress but I would never wear it to a wedding.

That dress is adorable! I think that since it is print, it is fine to wear

I wouldn’t care if someone wore it to my wedding, but I wouldn’t wear it to one.

I would not have minded in the least if someone wore it to my wedding!

I think it’s fine…it’s patterned and not a long ballgown. If a bride thinks you are stealing her thunder, she must be awfully insecure.
