I am having trouble finding a dress that I really like for my rehearsal and dinner. I think I might like this one...what do you think?

    Is the short dress better?

It looks like a wedding dress to me. How formal is your rehearsal and dinner?

    Edit:

It is very beautiful by the way!

Very nice! Where are you having your rehersal dinner? I guess mine will be much more casual compared to that wonderful dress!

Very beautiful but I agree with PP that it seems super-formal!  I'm planning on a cocktail dress!

Pretty dress, but I do agree that it seems very formal.

I thought it might look too much like a wedding dress too....but I love the Grecian inspiration. I wanted my wedding dress to have a similar style, but it just didn't work with what I've got planned.

@hmaxwell: You definitely do the Grecian look in a short/less formal dress.  I see this style everywhere.  Good luck!

i love it and think it's perfectly acceptable for you to be more dressy that day especially because you wanted it as a wedding dress style because well, it's your wedding :D....

i will probably be in something super casual because i want to order pizza for our rehearsal dinner :D goodness please don't let mom hear that :D

While I voted yes I think it's fine to wear it I think you should go with something else, something not so formal looking and something shorter maybe.

So pretty! I'm opting to find something shorter though, Maybe you can find that dress in a shorter version?

Definitely, if your rehearsal and dinner are planned to be more formal. =)  Ours were more laid back and I wore a cocktail dress, tights and flats =)

I guess it depends on how you feel about your future hubby seeing you in something that looks just like a wedding dress the night b4 the wedding.  I dont like the idea of him seeing me in something so white right b4 the wedding so he really has no pre-conceived ideas about what my gown will be.  But of course thats just my opinion and that might not bother you at all so if it doesnt then go for it!

The short dress is perfect! The long dress looks too much like a wedding dress to me.

Why not wear a color? They both look like wedding dresses to me.

I like it very much. It's a little low cut, but I don't know what your style is. I don't really think it looks like a wedding dress tho.

Edit: I didn't get a chance to see the short dress. I like it a lot better for the rehearsal dinner....

I think it's gorgeous but looks like a wedding dress. If I was in the bridal party or attending the RD I'd feel really underdressed compared.

I like them both, but for the rehearsal I favor the short dress.

I vote for the short one - super chic and more fitting for a rehearsal dinner. Maybe some gold strappy heels to finish it off.

(with the long one, I'd be afraid of making the rehearsal guests feel a little under-dressed.)

Personally I love it! I am wearing something similar but short. Depending on the type of rehearsal you are having I would say it would be appropriate.

Oh wow, how pretty, I love them both, but maybe the shorter one, it's less formal.
