lol... Am I the only one inlove with this sexy dress?? lol

    Ita a Pnina Tornai

ahahah why would you be embarrassed for someone who actually chose to wear this dress?  I can understand ur opinion on tacky ( everyone is entitled to their opinion ) but why embarrassed? Do think its too revealing?

A friend of mine purchased this dress as her second dress. I thought it was great for the party but I think it would have been a little tacky if she had worn it down the aisle.

It has all the things I hate in a wedding dress...I'd be embarrassed as well.

I think it depends on the atmosphere you are going for?  A few years back, friends of mine got married then went clubbing as their reception, and she wore something somewhat similar.  It worked in that context.

I don't really get the hype over Pnina (or the price).  Are the fabrics really that luxe?  I understand the beading ups it a lot but come on.  So final answer: It's not my style.

What if it was longer would that make a difference? is it the skirt or the corset or both?

@Zaria: Yeah, you can spot a Pnina from a mile away [unfortunately]. heh heh...

I mean, something like that - especially a mini Pnina - is better suited to the bedroom, imo. I can't imagine wearing something like that in front of our families.

For what it's worth, I loathe see-through corsets on anything but lingerie...and yeah, the skirt is a little too short, too. It's just not a classy look.

@Zaria: I dislike all see through corsets, I find them inappropriate for a wedding. For me they cross a line between sexy and trashy.

really not a fan of the see through corsets..sometimes on Say Yes they add fabric underneath and that makes a little better

I dislike the corset.  I couldn't care less about the length.  In fact its a bit Stephanie Seymouresque in November Rain.  I just cannot contemplate wearing something so pricey that looks so cheap (and I don't mean floozyish, I mean inexpensive).

I think it's the fact that it's a see-through corset mini dress for your wedding.

@LGenz: haha, in my first comment I almost typed something about how some poofy shoulder pads or full length fingerless gloves would really eighties cheese class it up.

    @Zaria: I'd be embarassed for the bride because it's a hot mess of a chavvy/Jersey dress and everyone would be sniggering at her... including me. lol ^_^;

It's extremely low cut, see-through, and quite short.  That's just too much like lingerie for something to wear in public, especially to your own wedding.  I'd love a version of it with less volume in the skirt for the wedding night though--I'm sure any groom would think it's pretty hot.

It's not my cup of tea. What is your wedding going to be like? I mean, is it a formal wedding or is it in a church or Vegas? I think this dress is definitely suited to only a few select situations.

OMG, I see this dress everywhere and HATE IT.

Of course, I think most, if not all of Pnina Tornai's designs stand for the proposition that expensive does NOT equal classy.

im not a fan of see through corsets...but if it weren't see through i would like it alot more. i try and go by the rule, if its short cover up the top, if its long show some more cleavage, but never do both.

I don't personally like it however, if you were a rocker chick and about to marry Vince Neal or someone like that...I could see it.

It's just missing the pointed boobie cups or it would be the perfect 80's Madonna dress!

Sorry, it's waaaaaay not my style.  I'm not a fan of the see through corsets at ALL.

    I don't think its shocking - meh......

Add me to the list of people who would be embarrassed for the bride wearing this, unless she is looking to grab an MTV reality show. Then I would be doubly embarrassed.

95% of people just can’t pull off the "see-thru clothes in public" look well.

@Zaria:Agreed I love it I actually considered it before I decided I wanted to go more formal. I thinmk it's perfect for an outdoor wedding on a younger bride who has the body for it. But then again I am not traditional. LOVE it!

I really don't like it either.  I think the main reason I don't like it is the corset and that it is see through.  That just doesn't say wedding to me.  But, even if you made the bodice not see through I still would not like the dress - just too much going on for me.  I think I would look back at this dress in 10 years and say 'what was I thinking'.  Your eye is drawn so many different places you are never actually looking at the bride.  This dress wears the bride insteadc of the other way around.
Also - the short length doesn't bother me (as long as it isn't mini skirt short).

It is too shocking?  ..nah nothing is too shocking anymore.

Is it a pretty wedding dress... (IMHO) No.

It is however, a pretty party dress, I would wear it at new years eve party or at an 80's party with hot pink and black pearl accessories and hot pink shoes.

I do like the idea of something offbeat for a wedding that is just too offbeat.
