We’re going to be serving wine on the tables and then having beer, red sangria, soda, lemonade, and water at our wedding. We’re supplying everything ourselves to save some money on ordering through the caterer.
We’ve picked up a case (12 bottles) of white and a case of red for our 90ish guests. Do you think that’s enough?
My concern in that with 10 tables of 9 each table will get 1 bottle of each, but what if everyone wants white? or more than one glass of their wine of choice. One bottle is not going to be enough to fill 9 glasses, granted they are the tiny ones (smaller than a normal white wine glass).
There will be other drink options… but I’m afraid that all the liquor will be gone by the time the cocktail hour and dinner are over.
Should I pick up some more from a store that will accept returns on bottles we don’t open? or do you think we have enough considering there will be other options and most of our family is not big into drinking anyway?
