We’ll be having approx. 75 people. Cocktail hour will be at 5:40ish pm and will last about 45 minutes. There will be an open bar. We’ll have a full dinner served shortly after cocktail hour.
There’s no theme – we just tried to pick something for everyone. Too much? Not enough?
- Fresh Fruit Brochettes – 100 pieces
- Crispy Veggie Spring Rolls with Ponzu Sauce – 100 pieces
- Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches – 100 pieces
- Meatballs with spicy tomatoe sauce – 100 pieces

That sounds like enough for me! It also sounds delicious. I think you will have plenty.

My caterer recommends having 2-3 pieces per person at least if you’re following it up with a formal dinner. I think you’ve got it covered. That is about 4-5 pieces per person. The only thing I might suggest is a little more variety? The mini grilled cheese sandwiches sound delish!

I think its enough as well. I’m not a fan of an abundance of food at the cocktail hour so when your guests sit down for dinner they’re stuffed. I’ve seen the TV show “Four Weddings” and quite a few of the brides complain of “food overkill” during cocktail hour and I happen to agree. I’d rather have more food at dinner such as a buffet so if my guests like what they just ate they can get more. If someone leaves our wedding hungry that’s their own fault…lol!!!!
