Although it would be nice as a bridesmaid to get my hair and/or nails done and not have to pay, I certainly wouldn’t expect you to cover it.  But if its in your budget, I think one or the other would go nicely with your other gifts.  Just my 2 cents. Good luck with your upcoming wedding – less than a month – woo!

Ugh, I’m struggling with this, too. I wish it were like restaurant tipping…take a percentage of their total costs and spend that on each bridesmaid!

As much as I hate, hate, HATE to make the gifts all about the monetary value, I do think that they should correlate to what your bridal party spends to be in your wedding. I also completely understand that weddings are expensive, and even getting an extra $10 gift per bridesmaid would be an extra $90 (it sounded like you’re having 9 girls, right?)

I do like the breakfast idea. A handwritten note also goes far! You could also find a nice picture frame and have your photographer take a picture of you with each girl. You could then make a copy of the picture for each girl and put it into their frame. Or, you can give each girl a picture of you and your BM from awhile ago. I’m also a sentimental person with pictures, so I may be biased :-).

  Good luck!!

I actually think that your gifts are enough. They sound really nice.

Your gifts sound nice – you don’t need more then that.

Now, about your ques about hair. If you arn’t requiring them to get their hair done, then no you don’t have to offer to pay – just leave it optional like “I’m getting my hair done here and they offer x discount, if you want you can join me or we’ll meet later.”
