My hubby and I are ttc. We started with the clear blue easy ovulation strips. We got the “smiley face” yesterday & BD last night. I know I ovulated last night bc I had cramps. I’ve been dizzy all day today. Could it be anything related to ttc? I havent changed my dietary habits (I eat very clean) or water intake. Ideas?

@IUrebekah3RT: Maybe just excitement/anxiety/nerves?

@IUrebekah3RT: I’ve been dealing with ovulation-related vertigo since I got off the pill almost a year ago. It’s horrible. A day or two after I O, I can’t even drive myself to work. My doctor has said that this is apparently how my body handles the post-O progesterone in my system. The good thing is…you know you ovulated! 😉

It could just be related to ovulation – I usually get some pretty intense O symptoms. It would absolutely be too early for pregnancy symptoms, so ovulation stuff is my guess (or could be totally unrelated).

Ovulation does funky things. It’s not uncommon for me to get a migraine right around O time. Also, I sometimes get O pains, but I think it’s worth mentioning that O pains don’t necessarily mean you ovulated right then. I’ve gotten O pains even 2 days before my actual ovulation. I was really surprised by that!
Also, now that you have an idea of when you will get an +OPK, I suggest starting to BD a few days before you think you’ll get a positive. Sometimes the surges are really short, and you don’t want to miss it. (By the time I get a +, I’m gong to O super soon, which means if I was TTC I’ve already missed almost of the FW to try and get pregnant)
FX this is your month!

I get dizzy around ovulation too. Not super fun but it’s one of my most obvious signals now that I know to look for it.

I agree with what everyone has said! I also get strange things happening to me when I ovulate. I don’t think it has anything to do with actually TTC though. Just ovulation! Maybe some excitment too as a pp said!

Thanks ladies! I’ve never noticed symptoms around when I ovulate BUT I probably havent paid much attention. I’m obviously listening to my body a lot more now that we are ttc. Thanks for the info! 🙂
