The local board is probably not that active but the main boards are hopping! You can discuss a lot of things on the main boards.
The local boards aren't always particularly active, but I promise if you have any questions about local stuff, people will see them and you'll get a response! There are a ton of Austin/San Antonio brides floating around the hive! :)

Im a SA bride and I used to live in Austin when I was in college so I can help you with some things! Im getting married in mexico though, but I did do some research before here and in austin before I decided on a DW!
This is by far the most active wedding board I've found. And it's the best. :)
@torybrian: Thanks it great to know everyone is so welcoming here. I just left the knot because it reminded me of high school drama with cliques and so many up in your face mean women.
Some even went so far as to googling me and finding my personal information!

@blondeeebuckeye: I just sent you a long email with all the details and apologize in advance for the length of it. I write a lot in general and was so happy to see another local bride to be here, so it's a little over the top as I was bouncing off the walls in excitement, sorry.
My wedding will be at Mercury Hall in South Austin, what about you?
I also left the knot because of the nastiness. While I want honesty, nastiness is not needed or constructive. While this board is not as active, the individuals here are supportive and helpful. I think you will enjoy your time and learn a lot. Welcome!

I am seeing postings from many months ago on my front page. Am I seeing this right or am I on the wrong side of the main recent activity page?
A little confused here, and I apologize for the dumb question in advance. Just not all that internet savvy.
