I have a really cute Fox sundress I want to wear, but it is winter in Illinois, so would it look silly? The dress is strapless pink bandeau, with the rest being black with a grey floral design up one side and pockets. It reaches a few inches above my knees. Would this be cute with just some flats, or should I wear a cardigan/tights too? Just buy a different dress?

does it look super summery? if so, a cardigan/tights won’t really go with it. i would go to h&m or forever 21 and get a cute new dress.

I think that sounds cute, but I don’t think I’ll be much help because I live in the south, and it’s perfectly fine to wear a sundress any time of the year (since we go from 60 to 30 and back in the same week – lol)

It doesn’t necessarily look overly summery, if anything it’s more of a spring/fall dress, IMO. I’m thinking I’ll ask my sister if it would be okey, and I’ll go to the mall tomorrow with my other Maid/Matron of Honor and see if I can find anything 🙂

Many women are stretching the wearability of summer dresses by wearing them over a shirt or blouse and wearing tights.
You could also wear a jean jacket and a scarf over the dress:

I wear my “summer” dresses all the time. I have so many I kind of have to incorporate them. Adding a darker cardigan and even a longsleeve shirt underneath usually does wonders to change the appearance. I think you can skip the tights.
