Weddingbee boards

So yesterday I get a phone call from my hair guy.  The first thing he tells me is "breathe".  I immediately go into panic mode.  He then tells me that the salon that I have been going to since I was 10 years old closed last week without any notice to the employees.  They had been told that they would most likely be closing at the end of June but he figured no need to tell me when I would be all done by then anyway.  (my wedding is 6/6/09)  Anyway, he said that Thursday they were told that their last day would be Friday, the next day!  

No place to do my highlights and cut that I had scheduled for this weekend and then no place to do my hair and make-up for my wedding day!  We quickly decided that he will come to my house and do my highlights and cut this weekend and then come to the church the day of my wedding and do my hair and make-up there.  

My fear is that this is just the beginning of the "oh, no" series of things I will need to change on the fly as I am so quickly approaching the "big day".  Anyone else with a good story to calm my nerves? 

That's great that he's coming to your house to do it & you know he already does a great job!

I called to make an appt last week to get my hair highlighted & they had closed... So, I went to another place & I could not stand the woman that did it & she made my hair really brassy... I actually cried on the way home! I haven't cried about my hair since high school! I was just so upset, it is 1 week from my wedding! Luckily my sister does hair & will bring down some toner to put on it before the wedding! We live in different states, otherwise I would've gone to her in the first place! Good luck, everything else will go smoothly!!
