A while ago I had the idea to grow my nails out for the wedding. They can grow relatively long on their own, and they are thick. Plus, with work and being budget-savy I think it would be better if I grow them out. I can't have painted/fake nails for work and I think it would be pointless to get fake ones when they'd have to come off in a week anyways.

So, does this length look okay for the wedding? Or do you think they should be shorter? I'm thinking until painting them a pale pale pink, a dark dark navy, or french tipping them either white or navy. (I know my nails now need to be filed because they grow crooked.)

    What do you think?

I keep my nails at about that length, and I think it's fine for pale colors. If you decide to go with the dark navy, you'd probably want them a bit shorter. IMHO, dark nails rock when they are short and look Elvira-ish when they are long.

my nails are usually a tad longer (they're naturally fast growers), so i say yeah it's fine... whatever you're comfortable with!

I sometimes let one or two grow long (for the cool tapping noise you can do with it, lol) but then end up chewing/clipping them down. Usually chewing them down.

So mine are typically REALLY short and I'm not doing fake nails, either.

    Your's looks like they're a good length, so I'd say you're fine. :)

For me, they are just a tad long. However I keep mine pretty short (just above the end of my finger) generally.

I keep my nails really short, but it's really all about personal preference. (Several people have asked me if I will grow mine out or go fake for the wedding, but I would probably accidentally scratch myself on the face, or poke my FH's eye out!) I agree with the PP-- go for a light color, as dark and long look vampiry or vixeny (is that a word?) I love the French manicure look.

I'm finally starting to grow mine out so I am absolutely no help. They seem a little long, but when filed down they should be prettttttty. And I think a navy french tip would be awesome! :)

They look great... my nails are just a little longer than that and they grow fast/ are thick too... I like the way they look without polish so I say french manicure! =D
