Ok. As a kid, watching movies like sleeping beauty, I’d try for the dramatic slow eye opening scene. You know: slowly she openes her eyes, the princess awakens!
Anyway, ever since I was a kid, I can.not.open.my.eyes.together. Lol. I don’t know what my issue is. XD My left eyelid always always opens after my right. It kind of sticks and then pops open. I’m sure it isn’t something that anyone else would notice, but it bugged the crap out of me while I was doing drama in high school (it seemed like a vital life skill :P)
So anyway, try it out. Yeah, you. There at the computer. Do it. Slow eye open. Don’t know how?
This is what I’m talking about
Let me know your results. XD

I seem to be able to open my eyes slowly and simultaneously. LOL.

I think I can do it right. I feel like an idiot, though, doing this at work. lol

It’s a medical condition. Ptosis probably.

2 times out of 3 i can open them simultaneously, but that 3rd time sometimes my right eye gets stuck for just an extra half-second

@sofialovesmikey: i have ptosis but my eyes open at the same time- but i have it in both eyes though haha

@sofialovesmikey: wait a second. Are you trying to downgrade me from super mutant extraordinaire to medically conditioned???????????? Would that also make it difficult to wink? (My eyes are not sexy at all. Slow open? No way. Cute wink? I look deranged…)
@JenniMichele: Thanks for the effort XD Love that you’re doing it at work.
@Sapphire-Dreamer: This is pretty much where I am. The first time I try, it will always stick. The second time, it will likely stick. The third time, I MIGHT get it close to bein unnoticeable.

@Asia: Ha, this thread reminded me of this song:
“Very mild super powers”

I just noticed this but I think my right eye stays closed a tiny bit longer. It’s not noticeable though. And my eyelashes are always sticking together so I can’t tell if it’s them or my actual eye rims. Weird.

@Asia: I just had to record myself on my phone because it FEELS like my right eye wants to close and open quicker but when I recorded myself opening and closing my eyes about 8 times (trying not to laugh…) they do it simultaneously. Things you didn’t know about yourself for $1000 Alex.

@Asia: The funniest part is that wasn’t alone when I was trying to do that. I’m sure they think I’m weird already, so this is nothing new. Haha!

They open simultaneously, but when I’m really tired (I’m a woman capable of the triple-all-nighter) I will tend to close one of them. It’s intentional and stoppable, but I feel like it, and it’s always the same eye. I consider it my wussier eye, lol.

@kgirl91: That’s pretty much me. It’s not really noticeable to anyone else, but it feels wierd to me…
@soontobemrsm11: hahaha! I think you should post the video to your facebook. XD
@JenniMichele: haha! Did you ask for any second opinions? XD
