No my Darling Husband doesn’t do that!

But if he did – I would ensure he wouldn’t share a bed with anyone else… ever! LOL!

I saw an episode about this on Oprah! It’s just like people who sleep-walk or sleep-eat.  There have actually been cases where men have been accused of sexual assault when they had sleep sex, and they don’t even remember it, crazy.  If it is becoming a problem–like it is disrupting your sleep, you don’t feel comfortable with it, etc–you really should consult a doctor.

Does he by chance ever take sleeping pills?  I know sometimes a side effect is that you will have sex in your sleep, similar to sleep walking.

Sorry if this is TMI- but I love half-asleep sex- especially if it was roused from a dream. Its the best sex we have because both of us sooooooo relaxed- so I say, enjoy!

Sometimes- both of us lose the details of it in the morning…. I don’t think it’s abnormal or something to be concerned about….

It’s one thing to be half awake….it’s another to be 100% asleep.

Dude i’d be PISSED if dh literally woke me up from a sleep to pull the moves on me. Sleep is precious!!!!!! Laughing

HA! Not usually but just the other night, for the very first time, I woke up to being groped. It was a weekend so I went along with it. Turns he was asleep and “woke up with your nipple in my mouth and was like, ‘oh, okay.'” I won’t lie, I teased him relentlessly because initially he thought I had woken him up. I was like, oh no buddy. That was all you. He’s very much a sleep-talker so I think he just progressed a bit that night.

I think if you want to discuss with someone, you should talk to your/his doctor about it.  This is a personal issue and you wouldn’t want to be talking to your friends about this.

@roxy821: I doubt it’s abnormal. Men are horny little buggers and I’m guessing the half-asleep sex initiation speaks more to the fact that they are both aroused and relaxed. Like, his body knows what it’s doing so he doesn’t have to fully wake up. I think as long as you don’t mind it, it’s totally fine.

It sounds like he has sexsomnia… it’s considered a sleeping disorder. If it doesn’t bother you or him, then I say just go with it!! Not too much is known about it, but it’s starting to gain more attention. You should google sexsomnia.

ETA: I know that name probably sounds ridiculous, but I swear it’s an actual disorder!
