Personally speaking I don’t like maxi dresses, and I don’t think they look great on women who have curves.  Just my two cents though, maybe you can order it (assuming you need to order online) and return if you don’t like it?

@mrskisstobe:  Sure but only as long as you ditch the deets on where you found it 🙂 lol – just kidding.

I think it is fine. I might wear a white blazer to the ceremony or a sweet cardigan…but I can be a bit of a prude sometimes 🙂

@mrskisstobe:  I think it will look GREAT on your figure, but am not a fan of it for a wedding.

I probably wouldn’t wear that to a wedding. It just seems a little casual even for an outdoor summer wedding. But it is super Cute! Also, I’m very chesty (34F) and my hips aand big as well, I’m very much so an hour glass shape, andi wear maxi dresses almost everyday. I think you should order it and wear it to something other than the wedding 🙂

I think that dress is too casual to wear to a wedding.

Also, if you’ve never worn a strapless maxi dress and are unsure about how it will look on you, trying one on in person is going to be far more helpful than having a bunch of strangers guess on the basis of a brief verbal description whether or not it will flatter you. Tan lines, age, height, etc. are all going to affect whether that dress looks awesome or dreadful on someone. I would go shopping, find a dress with the same silhouette, and decide whether or not to order based on that.

@mrskisstobe:  The fabric looks really thin, I feel like the top part isn’t leaving a ton to the imagination…I think a maxi dress in a less casual pattern could work, but not this one.

I think it’s very cute and cheery, but too casual for a wedding.

I have worn maxi dresses to outdoor weddings – but the material was more like a chiffon vs. stretchy cotton.

While this dress is super cute & would look flattering on you, the stretchy cotton makes it too casual.

It’s a cute dress, but I think the material is a bit too casual for a wedding.
