Maybe arrange for some designated drivers ahead of time? Ask for volunteers from among the guests, just so you can rest easy that it’s covered?

I think they can arrange their own DD amonst them.  All the weddings I went to as a kid were 1 hour from our home, so I don’t think it’s a big deal.

 

It’s very nice of you to stock them up with grilling items!

I agree with your mom, they have their own cars, they can handle it. The only think I might do is include direections from this house to the wedding and then back again. Otherwise I think its fine.
