@OnTheTwelfth: 100% completely understandable! I was the same exact way!!!! Hang in there and good luck!!
I think what you're going through is really normal. Pregnancy is full of worry. It preps you for even more worry once they get out lol
I was constantly worried that something was going to go wrong too. I call it mommy worry and from what I'm told, it never goes away. I had my second ultrasound at 12 weeks and it made me feel much better because I could see everything was still ok and I've made it past the first trimester. Try not to stress if you can help it, as stress is horrible for you. Congratulations on your BFP! So exciting!!
I held my breath every time I went to the bathroom for fear of seeing blood for the entire first trimester of my pregnancy. I think that is totally normal!
I'm 12 weeks today, and it was the first day I haven't held my breath when I first sat down in the bathroom. So totally understandable. And for what it's worth, the only real symptoms I had at the beginning where a heightened sense of smell and really really tired. The rest of the symptoms (sore boobs, "morning" sickness, etc) didn't really set it until around week 7.
Congratulations, and good luck!

I got my BFP yesterday (yay), have been mostly symptom-free so far (double yay), and have my first appointment on Tuesday. This is probably because it hasn't been officially confirmed and I have so few symptoms but...
I'm afraid to go to the bathroom, because I might a.) discover that I'm bleeding or b.) cause bleeding or MC with all of the movement going on down there.
Every time I have to go, I get so nervous - and of course, I have to go a lot.
