Is this pregnancy or something else?

@FromA2B2013:  Your symptoms, yeah could be a sign of pregnancy, but most likely in your situation I don’t think they are related. However, testing again will be your best bet (make sure to use a FRER, the pink dye test). In my situation, I didn’t get near these symptoms until after my missed period (the nose bleeds didn’t start until the 2nd tri).

If you find that you get another BFN, I would see adoctor about all that is going on becuase my best guess would be either stress or a bad reaction to your pill. I know you said you haven’t had a period in 42 days or something in your last post, but how long have you been on this pill?

You could simply be stressed, especially if you are worrying yourself over the period. I’d take another test for piece of mind but then call the doctor with your concerns.

If you had bleeding even for 4 days what was probably your period just being whacky and you’re not preg.  My last period was only like 2.5 days (typically 5-6)…it happens.

Reading your previous post, I think it’s pretty unlikely that you are pregnant. Those could all be symptoms of pregnancy, but they also sound like symptoms of just being sick. If you’re still feeling ill, then definitely see your doctor again!

Have you been on BCP for very long?  BCP does make your periods shorter and lighter so 4 days sounds pretty normal to me.

I mean…those could be pregnancy symptoms or you could just be sick.

Maybe you should just make an appointment with your doctor?

@FromA2B2013:  I mirror all of the other pp’s.

Some of the symptoms you have listed usually do not occur for awhile. Feeling sick for example usually doesn’t start until 6+ weeks. If you are that far along, you should be able to produce a positive test!

It sounds like you may just be sick and need to see a doctor!

Also, migranes while on the pill can be very dangerous! Please consult your doctor about that one! You may need to be switched to a different method of birth control!

@FromA2B2013:  Good idea to see the doctor. From your post to me I think it is just a negative reaction from the pill or not giving it enough time. Sometimes it takes a while to get used to the pill and 40 days is definitely not enough time for an adjustment period on the pill. Going on the pill and going off of it can produce pregnancy-like symptoms for 3+ months. I fortunately didn’t have a reaction either way, but it affects all women differently.

I hope you can get it all sorted out. Good luck 🙂

I second seeing a doctor. Honestly, it sounds like either stress or anemia.

As you pointed out,  you posted on thinking you are pregnant in the past, are you getting baby fever?

I’d get your doc to run a blood panel, if its been that long you should be able to get a positive test on a pee stick.  Sounds like anemia – I had nose bleeds that wouldn’t stop, bruising and fatigue when I was anemic.  Could also be some other kind of deficiency, doesn’t really sound hormonal.

I have the exact same symptoms as you, but I know that I’m not pregnant, if that helps. I definitely think that going to your doctor is a great idea. Have them test for anemia and test your thyroid levels!
