Welcome to the hive!!! Now you'll be posting constantly like we all do...its addicting!! You future Fi sounds like my FI!!! He was always talking wedding stuff too but i knew something was up when he didnt bring it up anymore!! And 2 months after he stopped talking about it...I became engaged!!
So don't be surprised if all of a sudden he stops mentioning anything wedding related. I think Fis just don't want to give anything anyway!! So be patient and it will come!! Then you can post "I'M ENGAGED!!"
I hate to say it, but I worry you might be getting engaged too soon! 8 months is hardly enough time to get to know someone really well. And you are still in the "oh my god I want to spend every moment of my time with you" phase of your relationship. I would just say make sure you have a long engagement so you can see how your relationship goes once you are out of that phase.
I am so happy for you! Welcome to the Hive!! I think it is so special when people just know! When I first saw my man in the 8th grade I knew he was the man I wanted to marry now 11 years later he is going to be the man I'm marrying!

I thought I had it figured out when my FI was going to propose, but then he threw me off and did it the day before I expected. I was so surprised!
So get excited because you might get surprised too! It's all very exciting!

Hi everyone,
This is my first post but I have been reading for weeks. I have been with my boyfriend for 8 months now. Within the first 2 weeks I knew that he would be the one that I would spend the rest of my life with. I have tried to not be the "girlfriend" that is always talking marriage so I have made it a point not to bring it up. However, HE brings it up all the time. HE was the one to bring up ring shopping, HE was the one to set the date, and HE was the one that went and opened up a "wedding account" to begin saving for the wedding. Last week he slipped and introduced me as his fiance. :) It was so cute and I think my heart skipped a few beats. A month ago I ran across the business card from the "jeweler" that all of my friends husbands have used and recently he has been super secretitive. I know that the engagement and the ring is coming soon but I dont know when. I have been sitting on pins and needles in suspense. I am so in love and I cant wait to become his wife.
