That's awesome! Try to stay relaxed.. the more you stress the worse it is for your body. Congratulations!
Congratulations! It didn't feel real to me until morning sickness hit so don't stress.
Congrats!!!! It's so exciting! I remember getting my first positive test. It was surreal.
Congratulations! It didn't really seem real to me until the first ultrasound - when you actually SEE the little bean in there it's pretty overwhelming! Hope you're feeling well and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!
Congratulations! The whole journey was pretty surreal to me. It wasn't really real until Cecilia was in my arms :)
WOW! Thank you so much everyone! It does feel surreal, but I am taking it easy and trying to focus on relaxing and being healthy...not nervous ;p So nice to hear from so many supportive women who have been through this!!!
Congratulations!! Try not to stress, easier said than done I know. Take lots of pics of yourself as you grow and document all of your feelings, craving and experiences. I love looking back to when I was pregnant it was such an amazing experience. 9 months seems like FOREVER but it flies by and when the baby is born time really flies! Do your research on doctors like any other, profession there are good ones and bad ones. I wish you the best of luck! :)
Congrats! I have about 7 weeks to go and had the realization last night that WE MADE LIFE. It's crazy. :)
Congratulations! It takes a while for it to feel REAL. I don't think I really believed it till my first ultrasound. Of course it always seems like FOREVER between doctor's appointments too! Try to keep from stressing - the only thing you can really do is try to take good care of yourself - I was a nervous wreck starting out but some of it has subsided. :)
Congratulations! I remember what it was like when I first found out I was pregnant. I was completely freaking out and thought it must be some kind of weird dream.
Seriously, and I know this sounds weird, I was expecting to find out that I wasn't pregnant all along until the time I actually delivered and then after.
It's going to be a journey, and it's going to feel crazy surreal at times. All you can do is take it as it comes and breath.
Congratulations! How are things going for you? Do you have an estimated due date?
Congrats! The best thing I did was journal the whole experience. It calmed me and I think Chloe may get a kick out of it later in life! Enjoy every second, it goes really quick! And soon your little one will be in your arms! And then time flies!!
thanks again everyone! now that it's been a full week and a day since i found out, it's starting to feel a little more real. my hubby and i have shared the news with a few close friends and are planning to tell our parents over the holidays. i can't wait to see their faces! i'm just crossing my fingers that everything runs smoothly and that me and the poppyseed are healthy :) it's good to know this surreal feeling is not just me!
@caszos:i have my first prenatal visit on january 7th. i'll be 8 weeks and i cannot wait! according to all the online calculators i've done, i should be due august 19th :)
I think we're baby twins ;) My husband and I also were TTC for 7 months, and just found out that I'm officially pregnant yesterday! I'm 4 weeks, 6 days now. Same story, got the faint positive, had a heart attack, pulled myself off the floor then took 4 more tests. All positive! I had my first prenatal on Monday (which made things all official), and get to go back in early January.
So much congratulations to you both! It's so exciting.
@sand dollar: WOW that's amazing!!! i'm estimating 4 weeks 4 days today :) i can't believe our stories are so similar. it's definitely comforting that you have already been to the doctor and made it official.

i'm still in shock...i just found out two days ago that i'm pregnant! my husband and i had been ttc for 7 months and i was convinced something was wrong. but it looks like it has finally happened :)
i got a faint positive on an hpt on monday night (one day before my period was due) and then tested 3 more times (i know, i'm crazy lol) the day my period was due and all positive (still faint but darker than the previous day. my af has not arrived, my bbt has stayed high, and i have a ton of symptoms. so...i guess this is it!
just wanted to share the news with someone! it's still so early, i think i'm about 3 weeks 5 days. this is my first pregnancy and i'm suuuper nervous something will go wrong...but im making a prenatal appt asap and hopefully all goes smoothly over the next few weeks.
