Technically it should be “two thousand fourteen”. No “and”.

There’s a subject disagreement in the invites!

First you use “they”, then switch to “we”–I would stick to one or the other.

@Westwood:

@BrandNewBride:

+1 to these, and you also don’t need to capitalize “their parents,” “the sixteenth,” “reception,” and “follow.”

Edit: and also “request” should not be capitalized. Basically anything that is not a proper noun or the beginning of a sentence should not be capitalized.

They look great, by the way!

@BrandNewBride: +1. “Together with their parents, _______ request the honour of your presence at their wedding,” OR “together with our parents, _____ request the honour of your presence at our wedding.”

@BrandNewBride:  I was going to say this too. You should either have:

“Together with THEIR parents” request the honour of your presence at THEIR marriage.

If you put “OUR marriage” in there, it changes things.

@BakerBee16:  I actually prefer “our,” but I think it depends on the vibe you’re going for! “Their” is third person and therefore automatically sounds a loooot more formal, whereas “our” gives it a bit of informality. Your invites look formal, though, so I would probably suggest “their” 🙂

@BakerBee16:  I would actually use either “Our Celebration” or “The Celebration” for the reception card. Only becuase the sentence starts with that word. You know what I mean? The invitation is different becuse you had two different sentences.

I hope I am making sense LOL

Killer deal on the printing!  Pretty invites too!

Some of these were already noted:

-two thousand fourteen (no “and”, no intitial capitialization)

-at half after six in the evening” (again, no caps, and “after” not “past”

-I can’t tell since it is blocked for privacy, but the state should be spelled out and no zip code.

-Reception to follow is only included on the invite if it is in the same location, so you should remove that line.  You have the reception card with the information, so that is correct (and very nice!). But again, no zip code if one is included.

@BakerBee16:  You’re welcome.  Very classy invites.  You should be very proud of them!
