Would need more details about the coverall cost and if, including the $199 ceremony fee, company B cheaper or close to the price of company A with the $75 fee waived.

Seems like a no-brainer to go with company A. Especially if this is all you’re basing a decision off of.  Smaller fee and it’s waived anyway? Easy choice

Have you read any online reviews for the companies? That may help you make a decision. I wouldn’t be so quick to judge all vendors by their webpage. If you aren’t an IT person it can cost a lot of money to run, maintain and update a webpage. Many companies would rather use that money for equipment and/or pay their employees a bit more.

Also, does your venue provide speakers for the ceremony area? The venue we are using has speakers in the tented terrace where our ceremoy will be held. The DJ we are using is waiving the ceremony fee because he can easily hook up some of his equipment without having to move speaker and lots of other equipment.

FutureFong:  we went with a ‘seamless setup’ we paid an extra $150 to have 2 sets of equipement so that music would play in the ceremony space and immediately in the reception space without having to move equipment.

I don’t think they were going to charge us to move equipment, but there would have been a gap in music,
