@secretbee33:  I don’t see anything wrong with what she wrote.

I hate, HATE when people act this way. Personally, I’d find someone else to do my hair, but that’s just me.

@secretbee33:  While it may come across as rude, it does sound like you finalized the details and therefore did not need to follow-up again..

ETA: If someone rubs you the wrong way, it doesn’t matter what a bunch of strangers think.. move on and find someone else. While I can see how she may be annoyed that you already confirmed and are doing it again, I don’t see how its ok to allow your annoyance to be conveyed to a potential customer.

@secretbee33:  I thought it sounded snarky. I would have taken that to be rude. Find someone else.

@secretbee33:  I don’t think it is rude. She is confirming the time and the date of the appointment. Her not confirming the appointment at time of booking is a little concerning but she may have been busy.

@secretbee33:  I edited my response to say, yeah I could see where she’s coming from but its not cool to allow annoyance to come across in an email to a potential customer. That’s just unprofessional.

Unless you’re really set on her for some reason.. I’d move on!

It’s hard to tell tone via email, and it does sound like you had already confirmed. I’m forget about it and go to the trial and see how she does.

@secretbee33:  I understand why you followed up, she asked about makeup and maybe for some reason your answer could alter her availability on that time or date so I don’t think there was anything wrong with just checking.

I know tone is hard to interpret through email, but I am having a hard time reading it in a non-snarky way.

    I voted: RUDE

She might as well have wrote “duh” at the end…

@secretbee33:  She could totally be a nice person. And you’re right, you don’t know who sent the email. But I don’t like being involved with people like that. Especially if I am paying them for a service. Who’s to say she won’t get snippy on your big day?

@secretbee33:  No problem I’m like that too! Especially since the last thing mentioned was kind of a “change” then you still want to make sure everything else is ok.
