Button bouquets are awesome!!! We actually had button bouts!
It's not to everyone's taste but that's ok. If you love it, that's all that matters.
I think it'd work great for a bouquet if you like it, but what are your colors? I'm getting a lilac & pumpkin orange vibe from it right now.
I am using rich colors- The purple is an eggplant purple I am using. And yup lots of orange, mossy green, Very Fallish colors lol. I love Peonies and Ranunculus flowers but too expensive for the fall. I am wearing Purple uggs under my dress and I wanted my bouquet to have that purple too. I thought it was different..I keep looking at it lol..I dunno though
I think the fact that youre wearing Uggs and that bouquet are awesome! how unique and very cool! if you keep looking at it..you'll end up with it : )
Not my style but still cute! Go for it if you like it! It's your day ;-)
Oh I think they're adorable! As the other girls have said, you do what's right for you. I'm a big advocate for those words! :) I have had to realize that I can easily offend a friend or family member or people might think "What did she do that for?" BUT I've been true to myself throughout the whole process :) I hope you get exactly what you want :D
What colors are you thinking of using??
I like it. But I also like this one: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vl_other_1&listing_id=35661627
:)
If it fits with the feel of your wedding and you love it, go for it!
I like the button bouquets, there are some that kind of look more like flowers and have more texture and sparkle, I personally prefer those. I think the colors you mentioned will look really good together, but if all combined they would look good if it wasn't so perfectly rounded. Just my opinion...
i love the buttons... it looks so different and it will give the people something to remember
check out Princess Lasertron. she makes a different version of button bouquets, too. she also blogged for weddingbeepro when it was still running :)
I like the Satin button bouquet better, personally. Button bouquets have always looked very large, solid and heavy to me. I've never seen one in real life though, only here and on etsy.
I think the satin one is a lot more delicate and feminine.
Maybe if you bring in some ribbon, it would soften the look? I like the idea but I'm not in love with the one in the link.
Remember that weddingbee pro blogger, was her name lazertron? She makes amazing button bouquets that I personally think are nicer than the one you showed. Go to the weddingbee pro tab and look for her.
Correction, her name is princess lasertron.
I think they are cool and can definitely be your bouquet or the bouquet of your BMs. If you love it, then why not!
I think it's cute as heck and if you like it then go for it.
Now I am home and can post our bouts:

So yes, you can definitely say I am an advocate for button accessories!!
I think that depending on the venue it works great! Like, if you were in a cathedral getting married, I'd say that's weird. If your in a field or something, heck ya!
Just depends on the overall vibe and feel of the wedding...
I'm trying to make fabric bouqiets with button centers myself, but if (when?) I fail, I'm planning on using this vendor's satin & tulle bouquets - already got a quote from her. She's GREAT to deal with and has excellent reviews!! I think the all-buttons ones are adorable!
the button one is cute but I just want to thank you for posting this because I have fallen in love with the one before it, the satin button bouquet! :) :)
I think as long as it goes with the vibe of your wedding, go for it! I'm sure you'll get some weird looks from people who expect the traditional flower bouquet but to heck with them! It'll definitely set your wedding apart from the rest (and in a good way IMO)
@krissycake: WOW! LOVE that bout!
Thanks for the links- I am going to check out princess lazertrons webpage!! Our wedding is in a mansion on this beautiful park. I choose it because I love the colors of the fall leaves and being in the middle of this huge park works- we are doing everything at this site. I am traditional but not at the same time. The buttons are really cool and funky. I saw that other Bouquet with the purples- I would have to change the purple darker but that could work too! I am keeping my options open!! My Fiance thinks anything I do is fine lol- I convinced him not to wear dress shoes but not sure what direction I am going to take that in yet.
Krissycake- that looks awesome! I love the colors!! Was your bouquet the same thing or real flowers??
@honeybear & lilperiwinkle - thanks!
we actually had real flowers for the bridal bouquet, but button details everywhere, so that's why I made their bouts like that =) The guys definitely appreciated not having to wear flowers!!
These were our escort cards/magnets:

Do you think this is too weird and out of the box to use? The flowers I want are going to be out of season so they are going to cost a lot. *I am only having flowers for my bouquet* all the center pieces of my tables are pumpkins...
