So I was originally planning on doing a candy buffet for my wedding favors (giving guests to-go bags with our logo on them to take the candy with them )
However, now I am thinking I want to have candy apples as well.
I don’t want to give up on either idea! So my question to you is…
Would having candy apples as a favors (placed at each guests table serving) and also having a candy buffet be too much dessert?
We are also having wedding cake and a cookie table ( its a regional thing)

I think you should have a plate of candy apples on the buffet…so that they can grab one of those too.
Then I think it can work… 🙂

@Cheesy Potatoes: Maybe I am biased because I will have a LOT of dessert at my wedding, but I don’t think you have too much at all..

There can never be too much dessert. Just saying.

Thanks ladies! I feel the same way about dessert but I just wanted to make sure I wasnt a minority opinion in this.
I’m glad other agree with me!

I think that will be fine (to have it at the table and have the candy buffet as well). I see them as two separate things. I’d take the candy apple and the bag of candy home for a candy fest 😉
ETA: I don’t think you need both – but if you want both and can pull it off, I doubt anyone wonder why there are two things.

Its not too much at all. I would take the candy but wouldnt take a candy apple so its great to have both

We just went to a wedding a few weeks ago and they had a favor at each seat (nothing too crazy or expensive) and also a candy buffet. Everyone loved the idea. If it fits in your budget, I say go for it!

I like that others are doing the candy apple thing! My dress twin @LOGAHN1981 and now my favor twin unknowingly posted w/in hours of each other that we both wanted candy apples for our fall weddings:) They are fun!!!
