Im trying to find a bridal jacket or bolero to go with my dress.
I know im going to be uncomfortable sleeveless (i wear long sleeves almost all year round lol…prob should have thought of this when buying the dress but i was thinking “pretty” not “comfy” )
Its a light gold color (the straps are just from my bra falling lol) and it has ivory pearls and crystal beading on the bodice and all over the back.
im looking for something like this Alfred Angelo Bridal Jacket 1169
but in ivory
anyone know where i can find one (hopefully an inexpensive one!)
Im a little worried that w/ a jacket i might look to …busy…
Ive embraced the fact that i just like gaudy things but would a jacket be to much w/ a veil, half down hair style, circlet and a huge necklace?
Im not in my dress i just pined the shawl (the shawl is pretty and matches the embroidery on my dress perfectly but i don’t thing i’ll be comfortable with out sleeves) that came w/ the dress to my tank top to see if the veil matched.

I don’t think it would be too much, I think it would definitely compliment it. Just make sure you get the right color and overall design, and I think it will look “good as gold” 🙂

I think the lace bolero with that would be just fine. I love that bolero.

I personally think it is a little much. Everything is GORGEOUS on its own, but all together I think it is hiding YOU! I get the feeling that you are becoming “lost” in all the accessories when they are supposed to be enhancing how beautiful you are.
You could choose to wear some of the accessories for the ceremony and then switch for the reception. I would maybe choose the veil and necklace for the ceremony and then switch to the headpiece and jacket for the reception or something similar.
Or, you could rock the hell out of all the accessories at once because you like it that way 😀

I personally think if you wanna wear a bolero you shouldn’t wear your hair down. An nice and elegant updo would be very nice I think..
