    I don’t think it would be too much, but if you are concerned, why not get a dress in another one of your accent colors?

    @partyplanner83:  I don’t think it would  be too dark. I think what you have put together is very lovely.

    I don’t think it will be too much – your table cloths are white, right? And then with a purple “runner” rather than the whole table being covered in purple? Are you going to have any chair covers or sashes that are also purple? If so, I think it’s getting to be too much (but then again, I don’t like purple so someone who does may disagree), but if your chairs are going to be uncovered or just covered with white then I think you’re fine. It’s not like the girls will be standing right next to the linens the whole time. If you’re concerned about it, have you considered making the napkins white or perhaps a gold (not sure how that would look)? I do love your centerpieces, btw!

    Unless they plan to lay on the tables for dinner then I think it’s fine 😉

    @partyplanner83: Well cheap looks good in any color lol! Tongue Out I don’t blame you for sticking with dark purple if you got a good deal! If you’re still deciding on chair decoration I think as long as you stay white or maybe go with a light purple or one of the pinks you have in your center pieces it would tie it all in together without screaming purple overload.

    @partyplanner83:  LOL it’s hard to put some of this stuff together sometimes and it gets overwhelming! But yeah mostly they are in a certain dress for the ceremony and photo’s, and MOST people dress their BM’s in their primary color.

    @partyplanner83:

    Here’s an example of it done well, IMO. It would look best perhaps with a lighter colored purple that is close, but not the same shade (so reverse of this example where the table linen is lighter and the sashes darker). Still close but not overwhelmingly all of the same color, although PP are right and BMs are typically dressed in the wedding color so I don’t think it would be strange if you used the same color on your chairs. Just a different thought here!

    I have realized that I am not a big fan of too much uniformity in weddings and that it’s better to have some blended variety.  I say have multiple colors since they’re all in the same scheme.  I had 3 different tablecloth colors and loved it.  I couldn’t decide on two but was freaked out that it’d look funny and I’m not even sure why I was so worried about a stupid element! lol
