Wow...that's a LOT of tea. Could they even get through that by themselves before it went bad?
I think you should get something else for the 4th bridesmaid. They aren't all the same person - why buy them all the same gift? Get them something they would each personally like.
@crayfish: I know, but I'm terrible at picking gifts for other people. I was originally just going to do Lai Se (Chinese red packets of lucky money) to avoid having to buy gifts. They are all so hard to shop for. Jewelry is a good standby but 3 of the 4 are allergic to non-gold metal (not sure about the 4th). And I can't afford real gold jewelry for everyone.
My other alternative would be some of those little Coach wristlets (but again its hard because they are all Coach fans), I'd never know if they had it already or not.
I just looked at the deal and it looks like the original deal has been sold out. They now have a smaller tea set for only $20 and there's only 96 sachets of tea. That's less tea and definitely good for your bms who love tea.
Oh, I love tea and I would love this deal. I'm considering getting this deal.
Thanks for sharing.
@IAmLemondrop: I actually think that would be a cool gift for a bridesmaid who really loves tea and drinks a lot of it! Assuming the tea is good tea, that is :) I would get something different for the bridesmaid who is less of a tea fan.
It is a lot of tea, but if you had one cup of tea a day it would take about half a year to go through, which is not ridiculously long. I'm not sure how long tea takes to lose its flavor but if it's in sealed sachets it's probably a while. Most likely they won't end up drinking all of it, but that's not the end of the world :)
I love tea and I would like this gift.
@yrret107: LOL. Oops. Well that actually works out better. It's a reasonable amount of tea now that I think everyone will enjoy that better. (Or be able to regift it if not).
FH drinks tea every morning and a 20pack lasts a few weeks, so if they drink tea regularly I'm sure they could get through it.
Definitely a good deal. Tea doesn't go bad like you would think if you store it properly. It just gets a little weaker. I think they'd totally be able to get through it.

I just saw a link to Jill’s Steals and Deals and I love the tea chest that’s for sale. The set comes with a tea chest with 32 wrapped sachets and 8 refill boxes of 20 sachets. So that’s 192 sachets of tea. I was thinking of getting it as part of my BM gifts, but is that too much tea? I know at least 3 of my four bm’s drink a lot of tea. I believe the 4th drinks tea occasionally.
Would you like something like that? Or would you be like what am I going to do with that much tea?
