My sister in law has one of these three in one models and she frickin LOVES in! We live in Manitoba so we have the same winters you do and it was a Godsend for her.  I’m not sure which model hers is, I just texted her and will pop back to update you!

I bought the BOB stroller on sale for $300, regularly up to $500. Then I registered for the car seat $189, and the attachment bay $50. So I am spending $539 on a car seat and stroller that doesn’t even turn into a toddler car seat and will need to buy one of those once LO reaches 30lbs.

You are the only one who can decide if you can afford in but it sounds like you clear 5k a month after your expenses. If I had 5k extra in play money/savings every month I don’t think I would hesitate.

We plan on buying a high end charriott with all the accesories which will be over 1400$ (we get them near cost with our company) and then a normal stroller so either a bob revolution or a mountain buggy or something like that. I think it really depends on what your doing with your stroller and how active you are with it.

I wouldn’t pay that much money for that, considering the bassinet is not used very long. But, the stroller looks very nice and has some awesome features…I will admit ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I can see why you would want it for the baby!!! But, under 2K is not a lot of extra play money each month, especially with three kids. I have three kids it never ends with uniforms, they grew another size….etc etc etc….

I would maybe register for the stroller and see if a bunch of family members would buy it for you, or purchase on sale…or on ebay ,etc if it still meets the safety guidelines ,etc.

This is the one my sister in law has, it’s about the same price as the one you mentioned.  Are you having more kids?  If you could use it again that might make the cost more justtifiable…

We’re planning on getting the uppababy vista, listed at $699, and that’s without a carseat.  And we don’t make anywhere NEAR $10k a month.

I’m nowhere near TTC at this point, but your total seems about right to me? To be fair, I’m in Southern California where it seems like everyone has a pricey travel system (like $1k strollers). What is the ideal budget that you want to spend? Maybe you can trim the cost of something else in the nursery?

I live in NYC where you see people spending upwards to 1K for a stroller as well. I personally bought a Quinny stroller for my daughter when she was first born and it cost us $899. It was worth it to me because we used it for a LONG time and still have it for our next child, whenever that happens.
