My fiance is super easygoing and I’m SO glad he’s excited about helping me out with our loooong list of DIY tasks. Right now as I type this, he’s hot glue gunning all of our vintage brooches backing together for my brooch bouquet. He’s the hugest dork and loves an excuse to hot glue gun ANYTHING though! Lol. I’m lucky neither of us are working right now (we are getting paid though because of his truck accident in October, we do get a biweekly wage from our insurance company since he is now unable to go back to work where he did prior to his accident) so I can get all the help from him I’ll be needing as the months go by (well, the accident wasn’t really ‘lucky’ but all the extra help from him will be nice).

There were several DIY projects that he suggested and took charge on. He was great!

HAHAHAHAHA….HA! No way lol. When i told him each new idea and how much work it would take he was like “noooo dont do itttt” and never offered help, he offered his mom, but not him!

No way! I am a type A perfectionist and he is not when it comes to crafts! He might help with some little stuff but honestly, my mom is so psyched about doing this stuff with me, I think I’ll leave it to me and her to do.
My plan is: we go to my parent’s house (or they come to our aparment), the guys give the project one look and go golfing 🙂 and honestly, I’d prefer that!

I wouldn’t say he loooves doing it but we’re in a long distance relationship til the wedding and he asked me to stop doing all the crafts so he could be apart of it. I never thought he’d want to stamp OOT bags or assemble programs but I’m so glad he spoke up b/c I’ve “scheduled” certain tasks around weekends we’ll be together. (type A much??)
It was reaallly hard to send out the invites alone, he wanted to help so bad but was miles away

My husband didn’t help at all and I didn’t want him to! He would’ve just messed stuff up. 😛 He didn’t want to either, so it worked out well.

My FI has been amazing with everything 🙂

He’s somewhere between loving it and doing it not by choice. If he sees me working on something, he’ll ask if I need help and will actually sit down to help out. The man willingly learned out to make origami cranes.
And as long as the baseball game was on, he was happy to help stuff invites and tie ribbon and put stamps on things. But, he’s also told me that even though we’re ahead of schedule, I can’t add more DIY projects to the list 🙂

HA! yeah. right.
I love him to death but he just discourages me to do anything myself. “don’t they sell those? I think our apartment would be much neater if it didnt have all this glue, fabric, string, boxes, ribbon, paper, ie CRAP laying around”
sigh, he will get it/appreciate it when he sees how our day comes together!

I don’t know what to mark on the poll. It’s definitely by choice but I don’t know that I’d call it love. 🙂 It’s just, you know, a task and it goes faster together.
