Nope.  The ring I liked best online and the one I liked on my hand when we went shopping were totally different.

ts7738:  so funny because I was the opposite. I dreamed of a dainty halo, but FI prefers solitaires. He got me the extra bling I wanted with the split shank band though. i don’t regret not having a halo now though! Your ring is absolutely stunning!!! Even though you’ve already seen my ring here’s another pic hehe

I always knew I’d want a round solitaire but thought I’d go for the classic tiffany setting. But when I tried on rings I went for one with a wider band.

I had no idea what I wanted and we never tried on any rings together. My husband designed my ring himself and I love it! Most of my jewelry is yellow gold and he knows I love antique and estate jewelry because they’re usually one of a kind, so that’s what he based my ring off of.

Beautiful ladies! My ring is way more than I ever expected. I knew I wanted princess, but that’s where my wants stopped. I never thought about size or setting. He totally blew me away though, especially because he hand picked the center stone and designed the setting and picked the specs for the diamonds in it. He put a lot of time, research and money into this thing and its perfect.

ts7738:  I never really envisioned my ring because I never even thought about marriage. Once we started talking about it, I knew I liked halos and that was about it. My FI picked out my ring and I can’t imagine having anything else.
