    @ImaStarr:  Have you read this?

    It’s hard to tell with pictures because people’s screens show colors differently.

    ETA: I do think you’re cool in tone and I’ll jump in. Here are some pix of me in different hair colors – I’m pretty sure I’m warm and as much as I enjoy being blonde, I think I look better as a brunette *sigh*:

    I am warm toned.  I would say you are cool toned.  I see a lot of yellow in my skin and look better in peachy colors where as my cool toned friends look better in pink.

    @ImaStarr:  Most caucasians in North American are warm, ie yellow based.  Based on your first 2 pictures, I would have said you lean warm, but a very fair warm.  Ruddiness in the face (eg. cheeks) can falsely make you think you’re cool, so it’s better to look at your neck or body for a truer representation.

    Why don’t you go with something neutral for your hair, and that way it won’t clash with your skin tone too much.  Also, I’ve found personally that hair colours can be tricky.  I’m most definitely warm, and yet when I put too much red in my hair I look even warmer….almost jaundiced!  Neutralish slightly gold tones work best in my hair rather than really warm tones.

    @cdncinnamongirl:  oh my gosh the same for me! I try to stick to neutral hair colors because too much “golden” or red color makes me look super yellow.

    i think you are cool. go to the estee lauder counter and ask for their 10 day sample of doublewear. they’ll match you and can tell you if you are a warm, neutral, cool tone.

    I’m a warm.

    look at the veins on the back of your arms. are they blue or green? if green, you’re probably warm. if blue, you’re probably cool.

    @ImaStarr:  then you’re probably neutral! some people are truly neutral and don’t tend to warm or cool. go to a hair stylist that has great reviews or that you know and love, and ask him/her to create a color to suit you.

    @ImaStarr:  I assumed I was warm bc I’m super fair skinned and I do burn very easily, but I can tan if I do it right (tons of sunscreen).  According to that article, that means I’m warm. But, it’s hard to tell because I think I look better in white metals (cool skin) and washed out in rust/ivory and better in blue/white (cool skin), but I think my veins look blue-green (warm).  Perhaps I’m neutral – I don’t think I have the same coloring as ANY of the celebs they listed.. lol I’m now super confused, bc I’m also planning to dye my hair soon (I’ve done every color, really) and I don’t know what to do and would like to pick a color that I will keep for the wedding!

    You are cool. I am weird. My face is not the same as the rest of my body. My face/hair/eyes are all cool. My body is warm. I tend to lean toward everything cool because I want what looks best with my face.

    You should totally add a poll – “What do you think my undertones are?” with 3 options – warm, cool, neutral – and see what wins out!
