Yes, without a doubt.  We have been together for 11 years and he is the best, best friend I have ever had.

Yes, but he’s not my only one. I can tell Darling Husband anything, but there are some things that I really only want to talk about with another girl, ya know? My other best friend is my SIL….I’ve known her for 14 years, and she understands things about my past and my family (she’s my stepbrother’s soon to be ex-wife) that Darling Husband can’t possibly understand (as much as he wants to).

That is not weird in the least. My husband IS my best friend. & When I say that, I mean literally. I don’t have a girl best friend at all. (I have many girl friends though!) He is the one I tell everything to. We grew up together! (Been together since ages 15 & 17.) We have so much in common, do basically everything together & it works for us! I know some people need lots of time apart, but we are always together. We have many of the same hobbies (we golf together, hike together, watch nascar together, basketball, the list goes on!) He is the one person I feel the most comfortable around in the entire world. He knows more about me than I do. haha

The reality is that the friendship you have with SO/FI/DH is just…different and you can’t really judge it up against a friend of the same sex.  I love my SO, but I can’t talk to him about manicures, that awesome yoga class I took or getting my hair done. Lol.  We were friends for a while before we started dating so I would consider him one of my best friends.

No question about it, yes. He has been there for things that no one else has and I trust him like I have no other person before.

He is!  I also do not have a girl best friend.  He told me I was his best friend while we were dating and it was such a meaningful moment for me. πŸ™‚

Yes he actually was my best friend. We had been best buds since we were 12 and started dating 3 years ago. He is still my best friend.

Mine is, as Mrs. Estep said, my Fiance tops my girlfriends. He was my best friend before we started dating, a year into our relationship we became more boyfriend/girlfriend than friends and I developed a better friendship with another person, as time went by our friendship improved and now he IS my best friend again.

The only no vote so far! Right here, haha.

I love him and I do go to him first, but I think bfs are kinda… stupid. Everyone else is allowed to have one but me, it’s cool. I would be embarrassed to have one because I am weird like that.

I do think I’m closer to him than my girls, but the ppl I have been all BFF with in the past felt… totally different.

Without a doubt. When something happens he is the first person I think of to tell. Even though we’ve both been married before we have both opened up to each other and told things we’ve never told any one else and loved each other regardless of what was said. No judging, just support, love and a shoulder. What more could I ask for in a best friend? He is the full package. πŸ™‚

He’s my best friend because I suck at making female friends and don’t really have any, aside from my old college roommate (who I consider my ‘best friend’ if I was passing out BFF necklaces) and my friends from high school. There isn’t anything I don’t tell him, and we really are the best of friends. But it’s different then my female friends, like my roller derby team, who I can talk about manicures and which color to dye my hair, and my cat, and things my SO just doesn’t care about lol.
