- Wedding: June 2010 - parent's backyard
I have a TON of jewelry, and it all ranges from H&M cheap to good-quality handmade (but not expensive). I love big statement pieces and I am totally not the type of peron to yearn for a diamond RHR or pendant. (Although I do want some bezel moissanite studs because I like my earrings to be tiny and simple). Anyway, I think it’s kind of funny that my wedding set is so traditional and so completely different from my other stuff. It’s a 4 prong solitaire with a prong set eternity ring. If I could have picked out my e-ring myself, I still would have chosen something similar to that.
Below are styles I gravitate to. I wear black jelly bracelets really often, they’re perfect for casual outfits, LOL!
Anyway, is your wedding set completely different from your other jewelry?

My wedding set DEFINITELY matches! Everything I wear is super understated while being alarmingly expensive (which is why I don’t own a lot of jewelery!)

@nerdybird: I love the things you posted!! 🙂 I don’t think my set is *completely* different than my day to day jewelry but I surprised myself by wanting color. I wear almost no color (and literally NO red!) but wanted something other than all clear in my rings. Ended up with rubies in my wedding band even though nothing else I have has any color whatsoever, ha!

I love vintage and my set will have that sort of vibe…

Id have to say mine is totally different than my usual style..im very girly and classic..so a solitaire would probably best match my style. I wear small white gold huggies and tiny pearl stud earrings and a thin diamond eternity band on my right hand daily..but my hubby got me this gorgeous princess cut diamond in a halo setting which i think is trendy and a little more glam than my daily style and not typically me! but I love it soo much!

nerdybird: not really. I don’t wear much jewellery, costume or otherwise as I have a bit of a weird metal phobia. i don’t have my ears pierced and never wore cheap rings or bracelets. My phobia’s something to do with the metal being clean (even if its in my head – im the same with coins! i hate holding them). Only in the past year do i wear some jewellery but its not cheap. Swarovski, Thomas Sabo and my watch is ceramic. All very dainty and sparkly so they end up matching my ring 🙂

My set is very different from my typical taste. I don’t wear much jewelry, and if I do it’s very understated. My wedding set is mixed metal and quite blingy 🙂 It makes me feel pretty, I love it!

My wedding ring is very typical of my taste. I usually wear a lot of jewelry on a daily basis.
