Lol. I am in the same boat as you. I received some quotes and now I am wondering what the going rate in Atlanta is. I just need like a month of coordinator, if all possible.

Hey Bee’s! As a fellow bee and wedding planner I thought I’d try to offer some advice and give a bit of insight. Prices can vary depending on the city that you’re in, unfortunately Atlanta is similar to Boston wedding planning prices and can be quite expensive. Also month of/day of coordination isn’t a big thing in your area. You’re probably going to see prices from $1500-$2500 but most of the time that includes some design.

I would say if you ONLY need month of coordination or day of coordination to go with someone who is outside of Atlanta. Many of the clients that I work with are located states away but we are able to connect via weekly catchups on skype and daily check-in’s via email.

I hope I’ve helped! Best of luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Ladies… I had the same problem. There were a lot of people that I loved, but when I got their prices for partical planning it just was not in the budget. I ended up going with a day off planner (B. Moore events). Still more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I feel she does an amazing job as the others that were 10x more expensive. She has helped me so much already and we havent even started offically meeting. She is available and has been and amazing resource. If you have any questions, send me a message.

I highly recommend Soiree South & Co.  They are VERY affordable and will work with any budget – large or small.  The website is http://www.soireesouth.com and they do a WONDERFUL job – so nice to work with.  They do Full Planning to Day or Coordination.  You will be able to afford them!  Good luck anyway 😉

I just noticed I had a type-o.  When talking about how great http://www.soireesouth.com was for full planning or day of coordination – I meant they do Full Planning, partial planning and day of coordination.  Very affordable.  I had them do Day of Coordination and my sister used them for full planning.  Her wedding was amazing and right on her budget!!  I didn’t have to work the entire week before my wedding – just enjoyed every moment.  As far as budget go – they can make it happen.  Look at their website and give em a call.  Enjoy it all – it goes by sooooo fast!
