I fell in love with this really nice barn style dance hall, and went in the entrance I was told to park at (the back door next to the office, and only has 2 parking spots) Went in and it was really pretty, clean, and huge. With our 200+ wedding it is perfect, and within price range.
Yesterday I drove my mom around to go check out where it is, and parked in the general parking lot, and it was…. not good. Pealing paint, and just rough. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to cover up outside ickies, or make them work for the wedding? Thanks!!

Not sure how to cover outside ickies, but I also wouldn’t let it affect my decision if the venue is perfect.
It also depends on what kind of ickies. Where is there pealing paint)? If it’s something bigger, like major pot holes, then I’d be more concerned about damage to guest’s vehicles.

Do you have a picture of how it looks like?

I will have to when I can get back.. it is mostly pealing paint, and within view of the parking lot there is some more broken down buildings.

Maybe if it is not too bad, you could rent some lovely garden plants. Or maybe have set up a lattice section and do some decorating with that.

I really wouldn’t worry as long as the inside looks good. As a guest I wouldn’t even judge such a thing.
