It snowed in Houston as well. :) We call FI's mom this morning, who lives in Baton Rouge, and told her it was heading her way.
We managed to make it all the way to December before getting our first snow yesterday. For Wisconsin, that's insanely late snow! Crazy that it seems to be snowing just about everywhere now!
Wasn't it Awesome?!! I'm up in Monroe, LA and got off early from work just because of the snow. It didn't even stick! Did it stick there in BR?
It snowed in HOUSTON too!!! Totally crazy. We usually have at least 1 snowfall by now, and we totally haven't gotten a flake, yet. Makes me nervous cause that means we'll get it all in one huge dump.
I guess it's cold everywhere. It didn't snow, but it's only 38 degrees here at 9am! We had a freeze warning last night!
@rabbit- Yep, we got a few flakes here in Madison around Oct. 15 (we have a running pool to see if it'll snow before Mr. Snow's b-day on the 10/17).
This snow is really really late! I was kinda hoping it'd hold off a little longer, but I suppose it is time. Bigger storms are on tap for tomorrow night and Tuesday night! We should be pretty covered by next weekend. Blah!
I just don't want delayed flights for Christmas!
No snow in Cleveland yet, surprisingly. But it's really effing cold. So for the ppl in Louisiana and other southern states, what happens when it snows? Does the town shut down? Because I'm sure you all don't have the amount of plows and salt trucks that us Northerners do.
We got a little yesterday in Austin too! Like 10 minutes of flurries, but it's something.
It's supposed to "sneaux" all day here! 2-3 inches. It finally feels like December. :)

@arizonabride: Freeze warning, I love it! Here it's more like 'impending ice age warning.'
lol I'm sure everything has shut down ;)
Still no snow here-well, it snowed the other day then went back up to 50 so it all melted....that's Rochester for you!
It snowed here in AL. All the hills were closed off and the accumulation was less than an inch total. Really don't get that being from CO!
Hey it "sneauxed" in Georgia today also!
I'm about 25-30 miles north of ATL and we woke up to big fluffy flakes..
that sadly, didn't last.
Poor wittle things melted on contact.
We got snow yesterday too! Well, I don't know if it can really count as snow. It lasted about 10 minutes and didn't stick AT ALL. But I was pretty excited about it.
I missed it while in class (the 10 mins. worth)..hoping I'll see some while in AR for Christmas.
nah no sticking :( lol it was slightly "dusted" tee hee!! the kids had a ball... i emailed grandma crebre80 and she saved the picture of m's daughter and my son on her screensaver and said awww look at my grandbabies... <3
Snow was falling & sticking in parts of the Bay Area last night, and not just on the peaks! Too bad I am at work :-(
Awww man, I'm so jealous! I love snow and so far all we've really got is a dusting. I'm ready for some serious snow!
