It finally happened!!! :)  I will tell you how it went. It was the most perfect and unbelievably amazing proposal story on this planet :)

Previosly I had been suspicous that somethign was up... see prior posts... So I wsa anxiously looking forward to this past wednesday night, which is when I knew something would either happen or not. So Wednesday arrives, and I work for MR H's sister, watching her kids, so all day I was watching the clock tick by, and then when she gets home she says I'm not allowed to go home yet. Say What?!?!?! :) WOOT a good sign :) So a half hour later I finally leave, and I get home, and walk into the house, and on the door there is a note that says "we are going to play a game... follow the clues and see what you find." So I follow the clues, and they lead me to the fridge to get an ice cream samdwhich cuz it is hot, and then to the computer to check my bank account, and then to the dictionary to look up vacation, and then to my dressor to pick out a nice outfit, and then to the closet to my suitcase, where the last clue says "YOU WIN!! Pack your bags for warm weather, and bring a bathing suit, and if you ask any questions about this I will cancel whatever I have planned."

So I'm like freaking out... and I have no idea where Mr H is at this point, and he is not answering his phone... and then my Dad arrives at our place and I ask him if he knows what is going on... and he says he doesn't. So I'm packing... and i have no idea what to put in my suitcase... I don't kow how long we are going to br gone... where we are going... what kind of occasions I need to be dressing for. But I figure this is something major. So I'm packing, and he FINALLY gets home... and I look at him and say so we are going somewhere warm? Do I need to bring shampoo? He says yes and yes, and thats it. So I ask when are we leaving? And he says I have to be ready at 12:10 pm the next day (thursday) on the dot to be ready to go. So I'm like.... ok!!!! :) This is SOOOO exciting!!!

So the next day he goes to work for the morning and I complete a list of taks that he made for me to get ready to go... like cleaning the car out, and packing our stuff in, and bringing the dogs to my parents, etc. I am ready at 12:05 pm... and I wait. He arrives at 12:11, and we hurry into the car, and we are on our way!! I have no clue whether we are going north or south or east or west.

We go east... toward minneapolis. And I was like Huh... what is in minneapolis? We were JUST there last weekend! Weird! And I started asking him a few questions... and he said if I keep asking them he will turn around. So I stop. He tells me when we get to st Cloud he will tell me the next bit of information. We get there, and he tells me we are going to the airport!! What?!?! I could not believe it!! Next I ask him when our flight is and he says 5:35... and i'm like OMG... we have 2 hours till our flight leaves and an hour and a half to drive still!!! ahhhhh. Then we hit traffic in the city, then we go into the wrong terminal, then I start crying cuz I think everything is ruined, then we finally get to the right area, and our flight was delayed an hour!! THANK GOD!! :) :) Someone is looking out for us!!

So we chack in... and the lady calls out my name and the destination... we are going to Philedelphia!!! AHHHHH!!! this is my home town... and where allllll my extended family lives!!!!! So of course i am sooooo excited to be going there... but at the same time I am instantly let down cuz i think of course we are going there to visit my family and stuff... which means not too much alone time... which means this most likely is not THE weekend. I got over it quickly... I WILL enjoy this wonderful surprise trip :)

We land in Philly... and walk down to baggage claim and my best friend/cousin is standing there waiting for us!!! OMMMMGG!!! I cant beleive it!!! He told me we were staying in a hotel in the city, and renting a car... and she told me that sunday would be the only day we could hang out!!! YAY!! Another amazing surprise!!

So we go to a diner... cuz only NJ has good diners. :) And we are talking about what we should do for the weekend... and she says they had a comp room at ceasers palace in Atlantic City, and we could probably do that tomorrow (friday). So I'm Like... AHHH YEAH!! How fun!!! That is so perfect! A free room availble for a "spur of the moment" trip!! WOOT!

the next day my cousin does my hair... cuz she is amazing at it... and we pack our over night bags, and we plan how we are going to dress up and look amazing cuz that what you do when you are in atlantic city. duh. :)

We get there... and the boys go down and put reservations in at the rainforest cafe... while we finish getting ready. They come back up to get us, and we going down and eat a wonderful dinner with great friends, and my wonderful man. Then we walk along the board walk and get a little tipsy while we go in and out of casinos. It was great. At about 11:00 We all decide to go out on the beach... and so we are walking... and all of a sudden I realize that its just my man and I, and we are talking blissfully about how awesome this is, and how much me love each other. And then he starts to get all nervous.. and stumbling over his words and stuff, and tells me he knows I am it for him, and he wants to spend the rest of his life with me, and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!! :) :) Before he even finished the statement I am blubbering like a fool, and I cant beleive it!!! I bend down to him and pull him back up and hug him as I am crying and crying, and he says "so is this a yes?" and I stand back and looka t him and say "  YES, yes, yes, yes, yes" Then he took the ring out of the box, and put it on my finger. Then All the people we were with who were hanging back came running up to us with a bunch of champagne sparying all over us. It was wonderful and perfect and completely amazing.

He proposed to me on the beach at night, by steel peir in atlantic city, with some of the most important people in my life around me... who I usually only see once a year. It was so amazing.

After all the crying and emotions and hugging and congratulations they started telling me about it all... apparently EVERYONE was in on it!!! My parents, my uncle, my aunt, my cousins, my friends, Mr H's parents, his sisters, my sister.... EVERYONE knew but me!! lol... and apparently some of them slipped up a bunch of times... but of course I am totally oblivious and had no idea. lol. Everything had been planned and scrutinized over a month ago!!!! WOW!!!!!!! It was so awesome! the only thing that now I am missing... is I wish my parents and sister were here... but I will be home in 2 days and I cna share this with them then. :)

The ring is beautiful... and he picked it out all by himself!! I cant beleive what good taste he has!! it is beautiful. The whole orchestration was beautiful. :)

So now I am engaged!!!! WOW!!!! :)

awwww! congrats!!! Im still sitting here tight just waiting! can't wait to see the pics either!!
