It is getting closer to winter which means your finger will shrink a bit. So I’d say yes this is normal but it shouldn’t be slipping so much that you can sling it off your finger

Yeah, my ring too is snug when the whether is hot and about to fall off when the weather is cold.

Is it colder today than the rest of the week. My rings get quite loose when it’s cold and are pretty snug when it’s warmer.

@searock:  the weather is the culprit. My ring did the same. its better than with a wedding band though.

@searock:  if it’s falling off now, but fits in the summer, then have your jeweler add some sizing beads. they’ll be inexpensive enough that you could just do this temporarily until next spring. they don’t cost much to have them removed either.

once you add a wedding band, your e-ring will fit better.

@searock:  That happens to me all the time.  As soon as the weather gets a bit cooler, my e-ring spins around like crazy – and is all over the place. It fit’s well during the hottest days, though ideally, I would resize it to 2.75 from 3. But I already resized it from 3.5 to 3 – and I don’t want to pay for another resizing :X

it’s the weather.  if you are afraid that it will slip off, i would get it resized.

how snug was the ring before, when you first got it?

@searock:  Totally normal.  Mine spins no matter what, but it is worse when it is cold.  I tie a couple of small knots on the underneat part of my ring with clear jewelry/beading string and it keeps the ring from spinning.

The fit of my ring typically depends on the weather and what I ate the day before. I can always tell when I’ve had too much sodium 🙂

My finger size changes a lot day to day, sometimes my ring will spin but still won’t slip off my finger, other times it is snug.  I think it is best to have the ring fit when your finger is biggest to prevent any issues with the ring being too tight.

Yup, it’s normal.  My rings fluctuate by half a size throughout the year.  agree with the suggestion to get sizing beads put in if it fits perfectly the rest of the time.

 @searock:

I agree with @nerdybird: and others– I have sizing beads and they are  awesome for this issue.

If you don’t know what they are- here’s a pic my photog caught– don’t worry, you cannot see them at all when they’re on your finger.
