September bride here!

-At this point it feels easier to say what’s left! We need to pick the menu, order invites, do favors, decide on processional/recessional music, buy guestbook, gifts for bridal party & parents, second hair trial is next week, I need to buy my veil & jewelry, seating arrangements/cards, trolley for transportation. I’m sure I’m missing something but I think now that I’m motivated I’ll order the guest book now!

im so excited and expect the time to fly. Im anxious because we’re also planning a two week honeymoon to Italy right after 😮

I’m also a September bride and I’m feeling overwhelmed by not having as much done as I’d like.

Everything is in progress though and I’m on track. I just had a few hiccups that are freaking me out. LOL

It all of a sudden feels SUPER soon and I’m starting to get nervous for the first time because things are adding up!

To dos:

– book honeymoon

– book our hotel room

– buy veil and hair piece

– finalize all music

– order cake

– finalize floral design with planner

– book hair & makeup for bridal party

– groom get tux!

– guest book, table numbers, signage {my planner will do most of this though!}

– dance lessons

– order invites (they are ready to go, just waiting for the next Minted sale!)

… ok when i write it out it doesn’t sound that bad!

  • Wedding: August 2017

I’m an (early) August bride!

I’m kinda paranoid about having too much to do at the last moment so I think I’ve been pretty ‘ on it’ when it comes to getting things ticked off our to do list. We actually had our venue booked before we were officially engaged lol.

I have yet to figure out florals and decorations (although our coordinator/ planner is taking charge of a lot of that), we need to wait till we have all our RSVP ‘s and then do our seating chart/ floor plan. I need a hairdresser (I thought I found one months ago but that fell through), and an officiant (same situation).

I brought home my finished wedding dress yesterday and I’m so excited about that! Things are coming along. Just the little details left and I’m hoping that stuff isn’t too stressful to figure out in July.

I can’t beleive how close we’re getting, just over 4 months for me (9/23/17)! Here are the things that I can think of that I still need to do:

-Schedule my hair and make up trial. I have them booked for the wedding, and the trial is included, but I need to get some hair extensions first. Going to Sally’s this week to get them!

-Order and send invitations. I’ll be ordering these in the next couple of weeks from Vistaprint and will mail the last weekend in July.

-DIY my wedding decor. I’m starting this on Saturday! I purchased all of the items needed for this last weekend and I hope to get as much done as possible, but I’m thinking it will probably take at least 2 full days to complete. My SIL is coming to help me at least!

-Purchase gifts for the bridal party and parents. I have NO idea what to get my parents and FI’s parents.

-Have our final pre-marital counseling session with our pastor. We’ll do this in August.

-Schedule dance lessons. My FI cannot dance for the life of him and he’s really nervous for the first dance. I have a few free dance lesson passes that I plan to use for this.

-Figure out Groom’s tux/wedding party tuxes. We have an appointment next weekend for this next Saturday.

That’s all I can think of right now, but I’m sure I’m missing some things!
