I'm psyched! I've been stressing out so much about this!
So I've offically found two place I could possibly have my reception at.
Quick run down: Tiny tiny budget with approx 100-120 people.
I've found two places, one I've seen and it's okay def plan c. One that I have to go look at and then there is a third mystery candidate that I'm hoping to hear back from.
The plan C is a historic carousel that's never done a weddding before only birthday parties. On the weekend it would be very public but they would open privately for a weekday. Fits 90 people no a/c, pretty much nothing except tables and chairs. $300/$350 for 4 hours followed by $100 each additional hour.
One viable option is a parish hall (not our home church) $500 for the whole day! (except Sunday only 2pm -11pm) includes tables and chairs, and kitchen access. Totally private. We can't hang anything on the walls I'm told (but maybe I could work something out decoration wise). We're hoping to go see it this weekend.
Thirdly, there's a historical home I'm waiting to hear back from, includes tables and chairs, and kitchen access I believe accommodates 120 people.
We just might be able to pull off our wedding. Now, if I can just figure out everything else but for now I'll be happy for this first step!
