that's right, this morning's breakfast incuded peanut butter in my eye...then a few hours later...my computer at work went blue...zigzaggy blue...two reboots later, I'm back online..so then I said to myself, surely this day can not be any more stressful...I WAS WRONG, should never had said that out loud...!!!!

I had a meeting with the coordinator for my venue. I thought it would be quick and simple...I was only there to go over the layout of the room, & let her know that we wouldn't need their chairs....everything was going fine and then...

the conversaion went like this:

me: also, I won't be needing the chairs. We got a great deal on linens & chairs from the rental place...

 she says..."oh, didn't I tell you? You can't bring in your own chairs...you have to rent them from us"

me: WHAT??? but, but, you didn't say that before!!! (in a very calm voice while inwardly freaking out)

her: I'm, sorry, but we just can't change our rule...

me: fine, ok, I'll adjust

her: also, you'll need more tables...you can't put 10 people @ each table, only 8

me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

all this equals more $$$$$

so now, I have to cancel my very nice wooden chairs with padded seat, half cover and champagne sash...and I'm stuck with burgandy & black folding chairs.....U.G.L.Y!!!

Oh, also, when I got home there was a nice white envelope waiting for me that said I owed the state $$$ to renew my car license plates...perfect!!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

sorry, just had to vent!!!

well, unfortunately, I can't get out of the chair rule but I am looking into chair covers with my rental person. Just sucks because now my rental fees will be so much higher...Those chairs are soooo ugly!!! I'll just have to deal with it...
