Hi all! So my wedding is a year away and I'm home visiting family. My sister-in-law, cousin, nieces and I decided to go "look" at dresses and see what kinds of styles I liked. Well, three shops later, "looking" turned into "buying". It was a bit of an emotional experience. The dress I loved wasn't my family's favorite. In fact, they all preferred a dress that was also beautiful, but not quite "me". I was torn. Do I go for the dress that they all love and say is a beautiful dress, or do I pick the dress that makes me feel beautiful? My sister, though she loved the other dress, reminded me that it was my choice, that I was beautiful in whatever dress I wore, and that she couldn't deny the look on my face when I had my dress on.
So, here it is. What do you think bees? Did I make a good choice? The dress wasn't what I imagined I'd picked, but I love it.. it makes me smile.
