Since FI and I got engaged in Italy this past summer, our wedding will have subtle hints of Italian inspiration mixed with a soft and romantic theme. I have been poring over wedding favours that fit our theme and cannot decide on just one idea! I have my mind set on something edible, just because I personally don’t want my guests to feel obligated to keep something 5 years after the fact.
So far my ideas are:
Little bottles of rosemary infused olive oil
Spice jars with a personalized label and recipe
Small jars of olive tapenade
Jars of Nutella
Any opinions (and new ideas!) would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I vote for the tapenade! Nutella doesn’t scream romance to me unless you use it in the bedroom? LOL

Initially I was going to do Italian inspired wedding favors and was going to do small bottles of homeade limoncello!!

Love all your ideas.
small bottles (splits) of Italian Prosecco or Asti Spumonte
buy bulk Italian spice mix, or make your own,- Label “The Perfect Mix” attach a bag to a recipe card for something you enjoyed in Italy

I also vote for small bottles of limoncello! So italian!

I also love the idea of small bottles of limoncello – because both men and women will drink it, whereas only cooks will use Italian seasoning, an olive oil mix, or some of those other things. Jars of Nutella sound AWESOME but Nutella isn’t Italian so I’m not sure if any of your guests would make that connection.
Edible favors are definitely the most popular, though, so if you don’t choose limoncello, any of those other ideas would be delicious favors!

@BoomBoom: rosemary olive oil?! hell yessss

how about an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dispenser like these…
or pasta favors
or the very italian perugina baci chocolates that have little romantic phrases and messages in them
.or italian espresso coffee, with cups and coffee maker
if you type in ‘italian bomboniere’ and do a google search you’ll find heaps of stuff.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions! Limoncello seems to be really popular and our family loves it. I am not sure why I didn’t think of that!!
